A loving caring community serving all
Church School
St. Luke's offers church school for all children three and older. The classes meet on the first and third Sunday of each month at 10:45 in the class room in the Parish Hall. until 11:30am., at which time the children join their families in church for worship.
We are fortunate to have a dedicated, professional group of teachers who are also members of St Luke's. They teach an exciting curriculum," Living the Good News", for grades 1 to 3 (the lessons follow the scriptures being read in church). The lessons include introductory activities, story, song, art, games, and prayer. We also teach the children the basics of the church service; especially learning "The Lords Prayer" and appropriate behavior in church.
In addition, fun events are scheduled for children attending church school. The children participate in a yearly Christmas Eve pageant, Easter Egg Hunt, and Kid crafts. We invite all children to join us for learning, worship and fun.
We are hoping that our Church School attendance will grow; so please tell your family, friends, and neighbors to bring their children - we would love to have them join us. While it is our hope that you are a member of St Luke's you do not need to be a church member. We believe that a family prays together, grows stronger in Christian beliefs.
