Epiphany means "to show forth". It is the celebration of the visitation of the wise men to the Christ child which begins on January 6.  The first Sunday after the Epiphany is the baptism of Jesus, during this time we wear white.  All other days during the Epiphany we celebrate the with the color green.
Green is the color of living things and God's creation.
